The current model of the Kaha SmartPad is the TR181, which has superseded the TR180. While the two SmartPad models have a similar appearance, the TR181 uses a different power supply than the TR180, and neither model's power supply is cross compatible with the other's. The power supplies sold by both ADInstruments and Kaha for the TR181 SmartPad are labelled as being only for use with this model. Using any other power supply will invalidate the warranty and may damage the SmartPad.
