Our new Spirometer Sensor makes teaching simple and effective. It’s light and compact, hygienic, and easy to use.
The Spirometer Sensor employs a pressure sensor that converts the differential pressure across a restriction into an electronic signal, which can be displayed in our learning platform, Lt. Combined with the Human Physiology Collection, the spirometer enables students to record respiratory measurements in lectures, tutorials, or practical lab classes.
The spirometer can be taken apart to isolate washable components for enhanced hygiene. The only part of the spirometer not to be washed is the electronics component, as indicated in the video.
The handle of the spirometer can be removed.
The spirometer plugs straight into your computer via USB connection. Not intended for clinical use.

Sample data with PowerLab Sensors
PowerLab Sensors enable your students to collect authentic data and become successful graduates. These Sensors connect directly to Lt through the USB connection on your Windows-based laptop or desktop computer.
Students use the PowerLab Sensors to record and analyze their own physiological signals in real time, including ECG/EKG, EEG, EMG, EOG, respiratory rate, and finger pulse. This active engagement helps students to quickly grasp and understand core physiological concepts in Lt’s Human Physiology Labs.
