68th Annual National Conference of Association of Physiologists and Pharmacologists of India
68th APPICON is being organized by the Departments of Physiology and Pharmacology, Government Medical College and Hospital, Chandigarh and the Department of Pharmacology, PGIMER, Chandigarh from 13th to15th December 2022, with a pre-conference workshop on 12th December 2022.
The theme of the 68th National conference of the APPI is “Translational medicine: Molecule to Individual”. This theme alludes to the necessity of employing a holistic rather than a reductionist approach in research so that the basic sciences while maintaining their essence, are seamlessly amalgamated into mainstream medicine. Physiology and Pharmacology are integral parts of the medical curriculum and their role is expanding beyond the conventional teaching and research domains.
