Overview
These miniature holders are designed specifically to be used for secure attachment of the Short Needle Probe and also the Standard Needle Probes (purchased separately).
When used in conjunction with the Short Needle Probe, the Needle Probe Minature Holders are ideal for the measurement of local cerebral cortex blood perfusion in stroke research, such as middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) studies in rodents.
The holders can be attached directly to the exposed skull (bone) using cyanoacrylate or rapid-setting epoxy glues (n/a with ADInstruments) in order to firmly, yet reversibly, secure the Short Needle Probe.
The holders are available in 5 mm or in 10 mm diameters and are sold in packs of 5.
