Most Simulation Mannequins connect digitally to their own proprietary software through a digital communication standard, usually over a Local Area Network (LAN) connection. This means that conventionally the data cannot be streamed directly into a PowerLab (and by extension ADInstruments' Software packages).
Several mannequin models generate physiological signals very similar to a real patient, such as generating an electrical ECG, having a physical pulse, or having a chest that expands and compresses to simulate breathing. In this case, it is possible to simply connect the relevant transducers to the Mannequin as you would a real subject to a PowerLab/amplifier and record the data into LabChart, Lt, or LabStation.
