Do I need to be connected to the internet to use SuperLab software?

When you first wish to use the SuperLab software, you will need to connect to the internet to activate the license, otherwise, the software will only run in Demo mode, and functionality will be limited. At other times, connection to the internet is not required,

If you have a firewall on your system, it may be necessary to open the necessary port on your network before SuperLab can connect to the license server. The following information is often requested by IT before enabling port 5972: SuperLab connects to license server at activation.cedrus.com:5972 using SSL and TCP/IP.  UDP is not used.
