The MLT1030 Wide Range Force Transducer (10 mg - 1 kg) is a semi-isometric strain-gauge that uses a stack of five stainless steel leaf springs to measure applied forces. Four of the leaves can be moved to modify the the transducer's measurement range for a given experiment. The range values for each combination of leaves is listed below:
- 1 Leaf - Range: 10mg - 15g
- 2 Leaves - Range: 6g - 300g
- 3 Leaves - Range: 10g - 500g
- 4 Leaves - Range: 15g - 750g
- 5 Leaves - Range: 20g - 1000g
