Eye movements can be recorded using electrodes placed on the skin near the eyes. This kind of recording is called an electro-oculogram, or EOG.
Join Dr. Wes Colgan for an overview on how to use ADInstruments EOG kit with PowerLab to record electro-oculograms from your students using LabChart and LabTutor.
EOG is being used in conjunction with EMG and EEG to develop the next generation of hands-free control for electronic devices. EOG control of keyboards, mouse cursors, and wheelchairs is under development.
