Delsys

Delsys for research - available from ADInstruments

Delsys Inc. are well known for their advanced wireless motion technology and wearable solutions, bringing together ease-of-use, clever design and sophisticated underlying algorithms for accurate EMG, EKG and FSR measurements in movement science. Our systems combine the Trigno wireless movement technology from Delsys with the powerful analysis capability of LabChart software, for a deeper understanding of the intricacies of movement. Trigno sensors are designed for the human body - compact and lightweight with a natural curve to maximize contact with skin - and their guaranteed range up to 40m means your subject will have true freedom of movement, allowing you to record authentic, real-world data. You can simultaneously acquire other physiological signals with your PowerLab, recording up to 32 channels of data into one LabChart file - you can even synchronize video and EMG data using the Video Capture Add-On and replay your experiment again and again. Whether you are studying motor control for the rehabilitation of patients or muscle performance and fatigue in elite athletes, ADInstruments and Delsys have systems to suit a wide range of applications. Research applications

Wireless EMG, EKG and FSR facilitates a wide range of applications within exercise physiology and other fields of research. Trigno wireless solutions are applicable not only for purposes where range of movement is important e.g. track & field and gymnastics, but also for applications where comfort and freedom of movement is beneficial. Some examples of research applications and ‘on the spot’ studies include:

LabChart Compatible

Together, Delsys and ADInstruments have made Trigno wireless systems completely LabChart compatible. Compatible with both the digital (now discontinued) and analog+digital stations, our custom-built ADInstruments device enabler allows your motion data to stream directly into LabChart with the click of a button.

What does this mean for you?

If you only want to record signals using the Trigno product range:
You can purchase our Trigno Wireless Foundation System, choose your Trigno Sensors and you’re ready to go.

If you want to record Trigno wireless signals while recording other physiological signals:
You can purchase our Trigno Wireless Foundation System, choose your Trigno sensors, and then purchase a PowerLab with any of our complementary application solutions.
