Simultaneous EMG and EEG
This model shows simultaneous EMG and EEG recording. The Rat Dual Biopotential Telemeter measures the biopotential difference within each pair of electrode leads, so care must be taken to ensure each lead is with its corresponding pair.
One pair has been tunneled up to the skull and fixed to the parietal bones with screws. The other pair has been tunneled up to the back of the neck and fixed to the trapezius muscle with sutures.
