Accurately converts heart sounds (mechanical vibrations) into electrical signals via an electret (condenser) microphone device. Suitable for recording heart sounds in the frequency range of 10 to 500 Hz, and is useful for the fields of phonocardiography and ballistocardiography.
The microphone is ideal for use in a student laboratory.
The Cardio Microphone Sensor can be used in Lt, with labs in our Lt Sensor Human Physiology Collection. It plugs straight into a Windows-based laptop or desktop computer via USB connection.
