There are two 24 mm diameter borosilicate glass adapters that can be used to adapt the perfusion circuit after passing through the Radnoti Hi-Tech Heart Chamber as required. Depending on their design, they attach directly to the 24 mm ground glass exit port at the bottom of the heart chamber to:
- Convert the heart chamber port to a female Luer port that allows easy tubing connection used for collecting or draining chamber fluids
- Interface the heart chamber with a post heart buffer reservoir that collects and rewarms the effluent prior to recirculation.
Hence, there is also Radnoti Buffer Reservoir Adapter (24mm Male Port to Female Luer), which interfaces the exit port of the post heart buffer reservoir to a female Luer port for easy tubing connection.
A borosilicate glass heart chamber adapter (24 mm Female to Male Port) that interfaces Radnoti Hi-Tech Heart Chamber to a Radnoti Post Heart Buffer Reservoir. It has two female Luer side ports that permit the addition of new medium or effluent sampling, as well as permitting the gassing of the heart chamber, such as nitrogen during hypoxia experiments.
