Radnoti Heating Coils
Water Jacketed Glass Heat Exchangers
Overview
Radnoti Heating Coils are vertically placed heat exchangers that are designed to pre-warm or reheat solutions, to ensure that they have the desired temperature, before they come into contact with the tissue or organ sample of study, such as in electrophysiology cell chambers or tissue-organ bath setups.
The design encases the coil in a water jacketed body, which is then circulated with heated water when attached in a circuit. Therefore, as a solution flows through its coil, it will continuously absorb the heat that is being rapidly transferred from the heated water.
The Heating Coils are available in a range of different volume capacities, which approximate 1.5, 5.5 and 10 mL. The water jacketed body attaches to a circuit via Radnoti Quick Disconnect
Fittings and the ends of the coil terminate in female Luer port that may be inserted directly into tubing or attached to a tubing via male Luer fittings.
For optimal temperature control, a Radnoti Water Jacketed Flex Tube Assembly (purchased separately) of suitable length is recommended for use with the Radnoti Heating Coil, especially in cases such as linking an unheated component to a heating coil.

Radnoti Heating Coil (1.5 mL)
A Radnoti Heating Coil (1.5 mL) that has a 15 mL water jacketed body measuring 20 mm OD, 55 mm height and 90 mm overall average height. Dimensions of its 1.5 mL internal coil is 4 mm OD, 2.4 mm ID and 337 cm long.
Radnoti Heating Coil (5.5 mL)
A Radnoti Heating Coil (5.5 mL) that has a 70 mL water jacketed body measuring 32 mm OD, 128 mm height and 165 mm overall average height. Dimensions of its 5.5 mL internal coil is 4 mm OD, 2.4 mm ID and 1.105 m long.
Radnoti Heating Coil (10 mL)
A Radnoti Heating Coil (10 mL) that has a 230 mL water jacketed body measuring 45 mm OD, 200 mm height and 240 mm overall average height. Dimensions of its 10 mL internal coil is 4 mm OD, 2.4 mm ID and 2.210 m long.
Radnoti Heating Coil w/ Degassing Trap (5 mL)
A Radnoti Heating Coil (5 mL) with a center degassing tube trap that has a 60 mL water jacketed body measuring 35 mm OD, 85 mm height and 120 mm overall average height. Dimensions of its 5 mL internal coil is 4 mm OD, 2.4 mm ID and 1.1 m long.
