Radnoti Specialized Tubing and Spare Parts
Overview
There are a variety of tubings used in Radnoti glass apparatuses for various required functions, such as recirculating heated water, delivering perfusate and gassing. In general, they are non-toxic, nonpyrogenic and compatible with blood. They have a flex life greater than that of rubber, smooth bore that provides outstanding flow characteristics, has a Durometer Shore 64A (hardness scale), and complies with Federal Specifications L-T-790B, Type 1 for medical applications. If required, they can be autoclaved or sterilized with steam, radiation, chemicals or gas.
Additionally, several tubing accessories are also available to allow tubing interfacing or to secure tubing attachments.
Product Configurations
Radnoti Silicone Tubing (0.078" x 0.125", 50 ft)
A silicone tubing that is normally with the Radnoti Oxygenating Chamber (Membrane), which is highly permeant to oxygen and carbon dioxide, as well as most other common gasses, which permits rapid equilibration of solutions with most gas mixtures. Oxygenation level of fluid going through the tubing depends on the flow rate, tubing length and internal volume of the tubing.
Radnoti Silicone Tubing (0.132" ID x 0.183" OD, 50 ft)
A silicone tubing that is normally with the Radnoti Oxygenating Chamber (Membrane) for higher flow rates. It is highly permeant to oxygen and carbon dioxide, as well as most other common gasses, which permits rapid equilibration of solutions with most gas mixtures. Oxygenation level of fluid going through the tubing depends on the flow rate, tubing length and internal volume of the tubing.
Radnoti Silicone Tubing (0.188" x 0.375", 50 ft)
Silicone tubing that is used either for the Drainage or Overflow lines in a perfusion circuit of a Radnoti apparatus. It is highly permeant to oxygen and carbon dioxide, as well as most other common gasses, which permits rapid equilibration of solutions with most gas mixtures.
Radnoti Tygon Outer Flex Tubing (0.375" ID x 0.5" OD, 50 ft)
A Tygon tubing that has an inner diameter of 3/8 (0.375)"; 9.5 mm and an outer diameter of 1/2 (0.5)"; 12.7 mm. It is used as the outer tubing of a Water Jacketed Flex Tube Assembly. The ends are heat-sealed to prevent contamination in shipment.
Radnoti Tygon Perfusate Tubing (0.093" x 0.156", 50 ft)
Tubing used to connect the perfusion circuit within an Radnoti apparatus. It has an inner diameter of 3/32 (0.093)"; 2.4 mm and an outer diameter of 5/32 (0.156)"; 4 mm. The ends are heat-sealed to prevent contamination in shipment.
Radnoti Water Jacketed Tubing (0.187" x 0.312", 50 ft)
Tubing used in Radnoti’s Quick Disconnect Water Jacketing methodology for temperature maintenance of the perfusion circuit. It has an inner diameter of 3/16 (0.187)”; 4.8 mm and an outer diameter of 5/16 (0.312)”; 8 mm. The ends are heat-sealed to prevent contamination in shipment.
Precision Pump Tubing w/ Fittings (L/S 13)
A tubing assembly that is designed to be used with the Easy Load Pump Heads of the Radnoti Precision Peristaltic Pumps. The tubing is a Masterflex® L/S® 13 platinum-cured silicone with 0.031" (0.80 mm) ID that fits a 0.0625" barb, and can handle a maximum flow rate of 30 ml/min.
Precision Pump Tubing w/ Fittings (L/S 16)
A tubing assembly that is designed to be used with the Easy Load Pump Heads of the Radnoti Precision Peristaltic Pumps. The tubing is a Masterflex® L/S® 16 platinum-cured silicone with 0.122" (3.10 mm) ID that fits a 0.125" barb, and can handle a maximum flow rate of 460 ml/min.
Radnoti Quick Disconnect Insert Tool
Designed to ease assembly of Quick Disconnect (QD) designed water jacketed tubing (purchased separately), in Radnoti tissue-organ bath apparatuses. It assists the insertion of the appropriate tubing onto Quick Disconnect Sleeve Inserts (Polypropene, 25pk).

Made from polypropylene/polypropene, which are designed for use with Radnoti Drilled Caps and water jacketed tubing for the Quick Disconnect (QD) design in Radnoti tissue-organ bath apparatuses.
Drilled Caps for QD W/J Tubing (5-50mL baths, 12pk)
An adapter that connects a female luer to any compatible outlet/inlet of a Radnoti glassware via its Quick Disconnect drilled cap. Hence, it allows attachment of any tubing with a male luer connector. It is supplied as a pack of 2.
Radnoti QD to Female Luer Adapter (2pk)
An adapter that connects a female Luer to any compatible outlet/inlet of a Radnoti glassware via its Quick Disconnect drilled cap. Hence, it allows attachment of any tubing with a male luer connector. It is supplied as a pack of 2.
Radnoti Tubing Adapter Kit
A kit that contains a variety of connectors and accessories, that allow maintenance and adaptation of tubing connections in a Radnoti perfusion circuit. It includes the Radnoti Quick Disconnect Insert Tool and a sturdy plastic container to help keep its contents organized. Additionally, it is supplied with some Radnoti tissue-organ bath apparatuses, such as Langendorff and Working Heart apparatuses.
Radnoti Tubing Dressing Kit
An assortment of cable/tube clips and ties that are used for organizing the various tubing lines on Radnoti systems. It consists of:
- 5x Red Reusable cable ties

- 10x Double ended tube clips (to offset the water jacket tubing lines from support rods)
