Radnoti Isolated Heart Pacing Electrodes
Pacing electrodes designed for performing surface pacing/stimulation of an isolated perfused rodent hearts in either a Langendorff or Working Heart system.
Overview
Pacing electrodes designed to be used with a Stimulus Isolator (purchased separately) for performing surface pacing/stimulation of an isolated perfused rodent hearts in either a Langendorff or Working Heart system. There are two available sizes, where the smaller size is designed for mouse hearts, while the larger size is for rat hearts respectively. Features of each electrode include:
- platinum (99.99% purity) tips
- spring loaded tips that maintains constant contact with the beating heart without destroying or damaging tissue
- electrode leads that are terminated with gold pins that easily passes through a heart chamber lid of a Radnoti isolated heart apparatus
- mating pin sockets to socketed 4 mm shrouded banana plugs connectors for direct connection to a Stimulus Isolator
Product Configurations
Isolated Heart Pacing Electrode (STIM ISO, Rats)
Pacing electrodes designed to connect to a Stimulus Isolator (purchased separately) for performing surface pacing/stimulation of an isolated perfused rat heart in either a Langendorff or Working Heart system.
Isolated Heart Pacing Electrode (STIM ISO, Mice)
Pacing electrodes designed to connect to a Stimulus Isolator (purchased separately) for performing surface pacing/stimulation of an isolated perfused mouse heart in either a Langendorff or Working Heart system.
Isolated Heart Pacing Electrode (STIM ISO, Rats)
This electrode is designed to be used for surface pacing/stimulation of an isolated rat heart either in a Langendorff or Working Heart experiment. It has spring loaded platinum (99.99% purity) tips to maintain constant contact with the beating heart without destroying or damaging tissue. Electrode leads are terminated gold pin connectors, which easily passes through the Heart Chamber Lid and connect with supplied connectors. Supplied connectors include socketed 4 mm shrouded banana plugs connectors (for direct connection to an ADInstruments Stimulus Isolator), and BNC connectors (for direct connection to a PowerLab output or other compatible stimulators).
