Yes, you can add event markers to data logged directly into the Equivital Sensor Electronics Module (SEM).
To do this, press and hold the SEM on/off button for ~0.5 second until the ! AMBER LED flashes (see picture). An event marker will be placed into the SEM file.
You can view the event marker in an Excel or CSV file extracted from the Equivital Manager software. To extract the data, right click on the .SEM file (under SEM File management) and select the Extract the data option. A Data extraction dialog box will open (See Picture). Please ensure that the "Summary" option is checked.
After clicking extract, an excel file will be saved on the specified location. In the file, look for a column named "Button Press Event". Here, the alphabet "Y" would be shown at the time point when the on/off button was pressed to drop an event marker. See a screenshot of an example excel file below:
Please note: These event markers cannot be imported into LabChart software. Additional processing of the excel file may be required.
