The ML206 Gas Analyser has its own independent power supply and doesn't require I2C communication with a PowerLab. This means it can be used with a PowerLab or any other DAQ unit with BNC inputs without an I2C connection.
However, a 2-point calibration will be needed for each gas. This can either be done with a known gas concentration presented through a non-pressurised supply for both O2 and CO2, or the internal calibrations can be used where 1V = 100% Oxygen and 1V = 10% Carbon dioxide. The former is preferred as it will result in more accurate readouts.
