Why do I get an error message when I try to change the Transmission Frequency of a SmartPad?

If the Configurator cannot communicate with the SmartPad the following error message may appear.

 

 

Click OK and try the following before attempting the Transmission Frequency change again:

 

  • Check that the SmartPad status light is either green or orange
  • Check that you have entered the correct SmartPad Serial Number
  • Check that you have entered the correct SmartPad Transmission Frequency
  • Move the Configurator closer to the SmartPad
  • Turn off any other telemeters or SmartPads on the same Transmission Frequency
