Digit Probe

MSP110XP

A probe specifically developed with a curved geometry for measuring cutaneous blood flow in the fingers and toes. The probe has a 3 m total cable length and a sensor head with a 17 mm diameter and 8 mm thickness.

Miniature Surface Probe (Non-suturable)

MSP310XP

A small and lightweight probe, which is suitable for non-invasive tissue surface blood flow monitoring or semi-invasive blood flow monitoring from muscle and internal organ surfaces. The probe has a 3 m total cable length and a sensor head with a 12 mm diameter and 5 mm thickness.

Miniature Surface Probe (Suturable)

MSP300XP

A small and lightweight probe, which is suitable for non-invasive tissue surface blood flow monitoring or semi-invasive blood flow monitoring from muscle and internal organ surfaces. It can also be attached to the tissue by suture. The probe has a 3 m total cable length and a sensor head with a 12 mm diameter and 5 mm thickness.

A robust and easy-to-handle probe that is used to monitor cutaneous blood perfusion anywhere on the body surface or microvascular blood flow on tissue surfaces. The probe has a 3 m total cable length and a sensor head with a 17 mm diameter and 8 mm thickness.

Overview

Laser Doppler surface probes are designed for use with the Blood FlowMeter. They connect directly and are available in variety of types to suit different applications including measuring microvascular:

  • blood flow on tissue surfaces
  • cutaneous blood flow in the digits
  • non-invasive tissue surface blood flow monitoring
  • semi-invasive blood flow monitoring from muscle and internal organ surfaces

These surface probes are considered MR Safe. Depending on the probe type, the probe can be attached to the skin surface using the Adhesive Rings for Surface Probes or by suture.

Probes shipped with the Blood FlowMeter are calibrated in the factory and do not require further calibration. For probes that are purchased separately, a Calibration Kit is required (purchase separately). Please note that the calibration solution in the Calibration Kit has a use by date.
