Use event manager to trigger warnings when pH goes outside an acceptable range.
pH is a unit used to quantify the acidity or basicity of a solution. It is a logarithmic scale related to the molar concentration of hydrogen atoms. pH values can be between 0 and 14 where 0 is the strongest acid, 7 is neutral and 14 the most basic.
pH measurements are important in a large range of different science and engineering disciplines. In life sciences pH measurements are most often used in isolated organ studies where ensuring that tissue is kept within the very narrow range that supports life.
LabChart software is designed specifically for life science data and provides up to 32 channels for data display and analysis options that are powerful and easy to use. With auto-recognition of ADI and LabChart Compatible hardware, multi-window views, one touch recording, simultaneous recording from multiple devices, specialized preconfigured settings, easy sharing options and an interface that can be customized to show only the features you want to use.
ADInstruments offer a range of other Ion Specific electrodes for measuring Potassium, Calcium, Ammonium as well as dissolved oxygen concentrations.
