The Avanti sensor is powered on/off and paired with a change in the magnetic field surrounding the sensor. Any common magnet will work here.
1. Open the Trigno Control Utility and click “pair” in your desired channel.
2. Remove the Avanti sensor from the base station (LED light turns purple) and touch it to a magnet to turn the sensor on (LED light turns green for a couple seconds, then begins to flash amber and blue). Flashing amber/blue LED signifies that the sensor is ready to pair. Note that if you do not pass a magnet over the sensor from 6 seconds of undocking, it will turn off.
3. Tap the sensor to the magnet once again and it will quickly flash green, signifying sensor pairing. At this point the sensor should populate the Trigno Control Utility in the desired channel. Note that once docked and turn on again, the sensors will automatically pair upon magnet activation.
