Per Millar's Instructions For Use (IFU) for the Mikro-Tip and Ventri-Cath catheters, it is recommended to disconnect the Mikro-Tip catheter from all electronics prior to defibrillation or electrosurgery. Failure to do so could result in damage to the catheter as well as to the data acquisition equipment it is connected to.
Note: There may be a slight initial offset with the pressure signal when the catheter is reconnected to the MPVS.
