The ML320/F and ML320/E oximeter pods provide SpO2 (blood oxygen saturation) outputs only. They do not provide any pulse or heart rate data (unlike pulse oximeters). The Oximeter Pod provides and output reading for SpO2 levels between 70 and 100% at a rate of 1 reading per second. Specifications for the oximetry OEM Modules from Nonin are attached. This pod is designed primarily for use with adult humans. Some people have used the earclip to measure SpO2 in rabbit's ears. For use on small animals, Nonin supply specialized probes; however, these are recommended for use with the Nonin Veterinary Module and are not suitable for use with the ML320 Oximeter Pod.
