TR Telemeters have a battery life of the following when away from the SmartPad charging field if fully charged:
- When in Active Mode - ~4-6 hours of battery life
- When in Safe Mode - ~6 months of battery life
It is recommended that Telemeters are not allowed to have the battery completely drain, and those that are put into Safe Mode and stored are tested every month using ConfigSoft to check the battery level.
