What is the difference between PowerLab and MacLab

The original MacLab units were developed in the late 1980's to run only on Macintosh computers.

Since then, ADInstruments software applications (LabChart and Scope) have been developed for Windows and MacOS.

The recording units were renamed 'PowerLab'  to reflect the cross-platform (MAC & WIN) nature of the system.

ADInstruments continues to extend the technology of its recording units. Sampling speeds have increased, the number of channels has been extended, High-Speed USB connections have been introduced, and support for additional Front-ends and Pods has been included.
