Software

New Releases

  • Release of KCDA to add Lt Sensor support. 
  • Students who use access codes are now notified when they are within 30 Days of their licensed Lt access expiring

Improvements

  • Very large courses can now be copied and no longer fail after 30 minutes.
  • Lt Sensor firmware update. Firmware updates are shipped as part of KCDA. The firmware is saved in the sensor, and does not need updating again until there is new firmware shipped in a new version of KCDA.

Fixes

  • Blocking access to the grading interface - This release prevents a server-side exception and adds additional logging for a rare issue blocking access to the grading interface for certain lessons.
  • The support link in the user menu now takes users to the relevant support site according to their user type e.g. student or admin.

Technical

  • Changing lesson related files from JavaScript into Typescript
  • Upgraded library that detects user's browser to remove security vulnerability detected by Snyks
  • Database update - Added LTI option to LMS types

    Improvements and Bug fixes

    • In the grading interface, navigating away from a question when data is loading no longer causes an infinite loading spinner in data recording panels.
    • If a user changes their preferred email address in Lt before accepting a new invitation to Lt, they will still be able to access Lt.
    • The Read-only Scope and Scope Sampling panels now stop users from uploading example data with more than 100 records and instead warns users that the file is too large.
