Nerve and Muscle Kits
Overview
Nerve and Muscle Kits are ideal for conducting experiments using isolated animal nerve, skeletal, smooth, and cardiac muscle preparations. The cables connect to the nerve chamber and plug directly into the Biopotential Sensor and analog outputs of the PowerLab T1 system for recording and stimulating the tissues.
All kits include:
More advanced kits, which include accessories for tissue holding and manipulation, as well as needle electrodes, are also available.
Any of our Education Kits can be matched with your choice of software, PowerLab Sensors, and additional hardware.
Product Configurations
Nerve and Muscle Kit V
Suitable for conducting experiments using isolated non-human animal nerve, skeletal, smooth, and cardiac muscle preparations. Capable of performing experiments including but not limited to earthworm action potentials, contractile force of smooth, cardiac, and skeletal muscle, stimulation and drug influences on sciatic-gastrocnemius neuromuscular junction, as well as compound and extracellular action potentials of insect sensory and ventral nerves.
