Radnoti Transducer Positioner
Overview
The Radnoti Transducer Positioner is designed to steadily hold via a screw and position a force transducer in Radnoti Organ Baths, which helps to provide stable and accurate pre-tensioning.
The positioner frame has a 1/2″ clamping mechanism with lock-down screws at either end that permit the positioner to be attached to a Radnoti Lab Stand, and securely fastened by tightening the screws. Slight loosening of the screws allows it to either slide vertically up or down, or slightly rotate around the support rod, until reaching its desired position, which it can then be refastened. Complete loosening of the screws allow it to be easily removed without needing to dismantle the rest of the components still attached to the support rod.
It allows two types of vertical adjustments for the force transducer, once attached. Coarse adjustments can be made by depressing the drive disengagement button and sliding the transducer mounting collar into approximate position. A conveniently placed top finger crank is used to precisely adjust the position of an isometric transducer via a finely-threaded drive.
A Radnoti Micrometer Adapter Assembly can also be attached to the Transducer Positioner to provide more precise, finer and accurate adjustments when required.
