The SpO2 Ear and Finger Clips are designed to measure oxygen saturation. They are approved for human use and supplied with the appropriate Oximeter Pod.
For measuring oxygen saturation from an animal tongue, paw pad, rear foot, front foot or tail depending on the size of the animal. It is also supplied when purchasing the ML325/AC Animal Oximeter Pod (Animal Clip).
For measuring oxygen saturation from any convenient location on the animal, including on the underside, base of the tail or other well-vascularized surfaces. It is also supplied when purchasing the ML325/BS Animal Oximeter Pod (Base Sensor).
- Connects to the 9 pin D-type connector at the rear of the Oximeter Pod
- Short pulses of light at two different frequencies are transmitted through the tissue from semiconductor light emitting diodes in the transducer
- The intensity of the transmitted light signal is scaled to read in % SpO2
