Yes, to fully comply with FDA Regulation CFR 21 part 11, every GLP user needs their own unique Windows login, with the appropriate Windows security settings, for each GLP Client computer in a lab. The ADInstruments GLP Server software ties the rules for whether a user has signing authority to both the Windows login account and their GLP certificate. Linking both provides the necessary security to ensure that it is the actual owner of the GLP certificate digitally signing the LabChart file and not another member of the lab staff.
