scientific graphing, comprehensive curve fitting (nonlinear regression),
understandable statistics, and data organization. It is widely used, although not exclusively, for Pharmacology applications.
It is possible to import data into Graph pad as text or Excel files. However, the format of Graph Pad requires the data is in a table format of columns eg X,Y to ease importing. It is therefore a good idea to first put useful parameters into the DataPad such as a column of Doses (comments) and a column of responses (eg mean, Max-Min or Integral data). The DataPad can then be exported from LabChart as a .txt file and imported into GraphPad.
If you are using the Dose Response module for LabChart (win only) you can also save the resulting dose/response data as an XML file which will also import into GraphPad Prism.
Further guidelines on using the DataPad and the Dose Response Module as well as exporting data can be found in the LabChart Help.
