Why can't I install HRV version 1 with LabChart 8 for Windows?

There are currently two versions of the Heart Rate Variability (HRV) module for LabChart for windows:
HRV 1.x.x works with LabChart 7
HRV 2.x.x works with LabChart 8.
It is not possible to use HRV 2 with LabChart 7, likewise it is not possible to use HRV version 1 with LabChart 8. You will see a warning message advising an upgrade to the latest version.
