A known issue exists where LabChart 7 can unexpectedly close when you mouse over error provider balloons (32-bit systems), or when the error provider balloon fails to close after mousing off it (64-bit systems). This issue is caused by Data Execution Prevention (DEP) being enabled on the system. It was resolved in a later release of LabChart 8 for Windows, and can be solved by updating to the latest version of LabChart 8 for Windows with the installer located HERE .
