LabChart prevents users saving the file whilst sampling at rates of 20 - 40 kHz or higher. The cut-off point depends on the specification of the computer, and the 'save' buttons and text will appear grayed out.
This is done to prevent the LabChart save dialog appearing 'indefinitely' due to the rate of data being acquired into LabChart exceeding the rate it can be saved to disk. Normal saving rules apply once data acquisition is stopped.
