Why won't my laptop client computer connect to the server?

While many issues can cause a "failure to connect" a client machine to your server, some laptops have a specific issues. 
Check that your laptop is not set on a high performance power plan. Simply resetting the power plan to default will improve performance while connected to the LabTutor Server. 
Other common issues include antivirus and custom privacy or security settings.  Running a window update, and returning all security preferences to default will often resolve the issue.
