Enhanced Course Progress Features
  • Customizable Lesson Sorting: Teachers and students can now easily sort lessons within the Course Progress grid by grade and progress state, enhancing navigation and tracking.
  • Grade Display Enhancements: The Course Progress grid now shows grades even for lessons without gradable questions, provided grades have been assigned.
Sampling Panel Enhancements
  • Full-Screen Experience: Enjoy a more immersive sampling experience with full-screen capabilities for both the scope and data panels.
  • Live Auto-Scaling: Data panels now feature live auto-scaling, ensuring that your data visualization adjusts dynamically for optimal viewing.
  • Performance Boost: We've significantly improved the rendering performance of data and scope panels, providing a smoother and faster interaction.
User Interface Improvements
  • Text-Based Button Creation: Authors can now create buttons directly with text, eliminating the need for image-based buttons. This update includes:
    • A selection of icons for various functions, including a download icon.
    • The ability to transform buttons into links, streamlining the user journey with fewer clicks.
    • Enhanced visual cues for button functions, with blue captions for image buttons that contain files, popups, or links, and improved placeholder images.
Accessibility and Usability Enhancements
  • Transcript Access for Videos: Videos with subtitles or captions now feature a transcript button, allowing users to jump directly to specific video segments.
  • Keyboard Navigation Improvements: We've made significant accessibility enhancements, especially for keyboard users, including:
    • More intuitive video controls.
    • Toggle button for subtitles, marked with the international sign for captions.
Bug Fixes
  • Course Progress Accuracy: Resolved an issue where deleted auto gradable panels incorrectly influenced grade displays in the Course Progress dashboard.
  • Dropdown Menu Selection Fix: Fixed a bug where dropdown menus defaulted to the second item when navigated via keyboard.

  • Display Student Grades in the Course Progress Grid:
    • Student grades are now visible in the Course Progress grid upon full grading of the student-run.
    • The grid popup simultaneously displays the student's grade and the maximum total grade.

IMPROVEMENTS:

  • Review and Activate Course in Student Pays Enhancement: Users are now required to set a course start date at the beginning of the activation process in Student Pays.
  • Export Grading Enhancement: Grading export now includes total grades rounded to one decimal place.
  • Administrator Management Enhancement: Revoked administrators will no longer be displayed in the Administrator cards.

ACCESSIBILITY:

  • Enhanced Screen Reader Compatibility:
    • Correct identification of various Lt elements as unclickable by screen readers, including headings, buttons, tables, and more.
    • Improved reading of graph panels lacking data.
  • Multiple Headings and Popup Accessibility:
    • Improved accessibility of headings within Lt lessons and the student homepage.
    • Significant enhancements to popup accessibility, including focus trapping, screen reader announcements, and keyboard-only interaction.
  • Visual Focus Indicators and Video Keyboard Accessibility:
    • Improved visual focus indicators in the home page sidebar.
    • Enhanced keyboard accessibility for videos.

FIXES:

  • Table Panel Equation Bug Fix: Resolved issue with equation calculations in table panels when angle brackets were used.
  • Table Questions Panel Fix: Fixed the inability to edit read-only cells in the table questions panel.
  • Graph Ordering Bug Fix: Corrected mis ordering of page numbers in the Median Time in Lesson graph.
  • Lesson Lock Dialog Fix: Resolved an issue where navigating away during lesson editing didn't trigger the lesson lock dialog.
  • Video Analytics Fix: Fixed bug causing video analytics to display more than 100% watched.
  • Lesson Environment Analytics Fix: Fixed issue where analytics failed to send events upon student sign-out in the lesson environment.
  • Access Denied Modal Issue Fix: Resolved the occurrence of "Access denied" modal appearing erroneously.

  • Sorting by Student Name in Course Progress Grid: In this release, we've introduced a new feature that allows users to sort course progress in the grid by student names conveniently.

  • Lt Email Styling Updates:

    • Enhanced the styling of Lt emails, focusing on Try Lt emails.
    • Improved wording and addressed minor bugs for a better overall email experience.

  • Background Page Added to Median Time in Lesson Analytics:

    • A background page has been added to the Median Time in Lesson analytics, enhancing the visual presentation and user experience.

ACCESSIBILITY

  • "Skip to Content" Button:
    • Introduced a "Skip to Content" button to facilitate quick navigation for keyboard and screen-reader users.
    • The "Skip to content" button now avoids the use of anchor links, preventing blank pages upon reloading.

    • Resolved an issue where syncing student invites could fail, particularly if a student had changed their email address.
    • Enabled Group Lesson Sharing for students accessing Lt through LTI lesson links embedded in their LMS.
