Data Panel Keyboard Accessibility
Improved keyboard accessibility for:
- Placing data markers
- Selecting data regions
- Updating comments
LMS Integration Updates
- Refreshed the LTI integration interface.
- Improved the deep-linking experience.
- Enhanced accessibility with keyboard navigation, screen reader support, and improved focus management.
- Disabled automatic LMS gradebook item creation by default.
- Gradebook items can still be created later using Copy Grades.
🐛 Bug Fixes and Improvements
Hotspot Panel
Fixed issues with Undo in the hotspot panel:
- Undoing a rectangle resize could leave one corner incorrectly positioned.
- Undoing while drawing a custom shape could prevent users from adding new shapes or editing existing regions.
Data Panel
- Added student data selections and markers to the grading view.
- Fixed an issue that prevented the panel’s view state from being reliably saved.
Comments
- Improved the appearance and contrast of comments.

Software🌈 New Releases
- PowerLab T1 support: Enabled customer authoring for the PowerLab T1 Stimulator channel in Lt.
- Expanded settings library: Updated the settings file library with new and revised settings from the Lt Content team.
- Lt Sampling enabled by default: All newly created and copied courses now have Lt Sampling enabled automatically.
- Accessibility improvements – Annotation Panel:
- Annotation panel now scales correctly with browser zoom, improving text readability.
- Arrow and Text annotation tools can now be used entirely with the keyboard.
- Annotation objects can now be selected, moved, and deleted using keyboard controls.
- Improved screen reader compatibility throughout the annotation experience.
🐛 Bug Fixes and Improvements
- Fixed an issue where model answers could disappear in table questions when empty newline characters were used to increase visual spacing.
- Fixed an issue where the Stimulus Channel displayed incorrect values when authors configured mV as the output pulse-height unit.

Lt Sampling 1.3.0
- Lt Sampling 1.3.0 adds support for PowerLab Sensors. This is an optional update for customers who are using only Lt Sensors.
Content Library Updates:
- Added device-based content filtering, including filters for PowerLab Sensors and PowerLab T1.
- Replaced the Content Access dropdown with a Licensed Only filter chip.
- Added basic channel information to the Required Devices hover state, including units, channel name, and device name.
New Features:
- Updated sign-in status messaging in the People tab for LMS and SSO instance users.
- Improved accessibility: the formatting toolbar can now be accessed using the keyboard.
🐛 Bug Fixes and Improvements
- Fixed an issue where Lt sampling data in aliased panels was not drawn when moving between pages.
- Enabled playback speed controls on video panels.
- Fixed an issue where videos did not display in popups.
- Fixed an issue in grading where drag-and-drop labels could become stuck in the corner of the panel after viewing the answer.
- Improved grading environment load times by deduplicating view models.
- Fixed an issue where stimulator parameters were not retained after switching pages to an aliased data panel.
- Fixed a performance issue that occurred when changing parameters while sampling.
- Improved the stimulator authoring UI and wording.

ContentWe are thrilled to announce a major expansion and refresh of our Sensor Collections! This release includes the introduction of three new Sensor Collections – Neuroscience, Pharmacology, and Psychophysiology – alongside 18 brand-new labs. With the release of the PowerLab T1, our content now features stimulation activities and the ability to author your stimulation settings directly within Lt.app. Across our Background Lessons, Pre-Lab Preps, and Labs, we have rebranded our content to “Sensors” and integrated new artwork and audio descriptions for videos. Additionally, we have implemented various bug fixes and technical improvements to ensure better accessibility and clarity for an improved learning and teaching experience.

- The Stimulator panel is now available when viewing the data panel in fullscreen mode. For manual stimulation setups, the Stimulate button is also available in fullscreen mode.
- Added Share Link to the lesson overflow menu, making it easier to share the latest revision of a lesson.
- Improved accessibility by allowing course admins to set a course language, helping screen readers interpret content correctly.
- Improved keyboard accessibility by adding Tab-key support for the graph curve equations modal and for editing graph titles and axes.
- Improved video accessibility: the video panel now supports audio descriptions.

UX Improvements: Switching Between Example Data and Sampling Devices
- The Data Settings button has been renamed to Data Source and is now always visible (no longer hidden behind Shift + Start).
- The Data Source dialog continues to support all existing configurations:
- On by default
- Switched off
- Access code only
- The Access Code field is now embedded directly within the dialog, eliminating the need for a separate window.
Accessibility Improvements: Keyboard Navigation in the Grading Environment
- Tab Management: Improved tab order across the grading grid, feedback panels, grading options, and student lists. Focus traps have been resolved for more intuitive navigation.
- Control Access: All buttons, dropdowns, and input fields are now fully accessible via keyboard.
- Grid Shortcuts: Enhanced arrow key navigation for faster movement between cells in large lessons.
- Bug Fixes & Performance:
- Fixed long-standing alignment issues in the grading grid
- Improved performance when handling large numbers of students
Accessibility Improvements: Button Panel
- Improved accessibility of the button panel for better keyboard and assistive technology support.

- Fixed an issue where adding a maximum grade to a question could cause it to disappear from the grading environment.

- Email sending domains will now be determined by the lt.app domain flag configured in Instance Settings.

- Improved compatibility with upcoming PowerLab Sensors
- Prevents KCDA from blocking PowerLab Sensors when used with Lt Sampling
- Fixes an issue where Lt Sampling could display:
- An exclamation mark indicator
- A message stating devices are in use by another application
- This issue only affected systems where:
- KCDA and Lt Sampling were installed and running on the same computer, and
- A PowerLab Sensor was connected
- The first shipping PowerLab Sensor impacted is the new Spirometer
- NOTE: This is a non breaking update. KCDA will continue to function as normal if not updated to this version.
- Customers may continue using previous versions of KCDA if they are not using PowerLab Sensors
