Overview
The Spring Clip Electrodes are ideal for measuring electrical activity from the isolated heart in a Langendorff or Working Heart preparation. Typically, an electrode is connected to the base/apex of the heart and the other to the atria with a reference or ground electrode attached to a metal cannula.
Product Configurations
Spring Clip Electrodes (set of 3)
A pack of three non-sterile spring clip (spring metal plated with nickel and gold) electrodes, each having a 1 m lead wire and terminating to a 2 mm pin connector. They are designed to be used with the superseded ML136 Animal Bio Amp. However, they can still be connected later ADInstruments Bio Amps with 1.5 mm male pin socket via the MLAC14 Adapter Pack (2 mm Pin to SAF, 5 pk), which is purchased separately.
Spring Clip Electrodes for FE136/FE231 (3 pk)
A pack of three non-sterile spring clip (spring metal plated with nickel and gold) electrodes, each having a 1.5 m lead wire and terminating to a 1.5 mm shrouded female plug. They are primarily designed to be used with the FE231 Bio Amp. Additionally, they can also connect to any ADInstruments Bio Amps with 1.5 mm male pin socket, including FE234 Quad Bio Amp, FE238 Octal Bio Amp, FE136 Animal Bio Amp (superseded) and ML138 Octal Bio Amp (superseded). Similarly, they can also connect to both 3 Lead and 3 Lead Shielded Bio Amp Cables, if required.
