Video Capture

Video Capture applications include studies that require video observation alongside data acquisition. Sample applications include exercise physiology, sleep and seizure studies, as well as evoked responses and evoked potential studies.

The Video Capture Add-On for LabChart is used for simultaneous recording and synchronization of a video file and a LabChart data file. You can record a movie directly to your computer using a personal video camera. The movie is saved and linked so that the recorded movie and the LabChart data file can be played back together, allowing you to observe recorded video and biological data simultaneously.

The Video Capture Module records in Windows Media Video (.wmv) format and supports most video cameras with USB connections or input from any frame capture cards supported by DirectShow.
