How do I link directly from my LMS to an Lt lesson?

As Lt is a stand-alone website, you can directly link students from your LMS to Lt by inserting a link to loginto.lt. This allows students to see all content available to them in Lt at that time.

It is also possible to link students from an LMS directly to an Lt lesson. To do this, navigate to the “Student Work” card, find the module/lesson of interest, select the cog icon and finally select “Get Link”.

Using the Get Link option allows for linking between Lt lessons. However, the Lt lesson has to be published in order to get the link, so be mindful of re-publishing content before making it available to students.

Note the Get Link URL will only open for Lt users with student accounts. If an educator with only a staff account tries to access Lt via this link, an "access denied" dialog will appear.

The advantage of linking to loginto.lt is that it is simple and doesn’t require maintaining URLs and generating unique URLs for each lesson.

Some advanced workflows…

  • The Get Link URL can be modified to go to a specific page. To do this, simply change the number at the end of the URL. For example,

would direct students to page 1. To direct to page 7, change the URL to

  • If you want to link to a module rather than a lesson, the URL can be changed. For example,

    can be changed to
To get the module URL, you will need to preview the module in student view.

Note that you must make sure the URL is exactly correct in your links.
