Biopotentials and GSR
The ability to easily record and measure various physiological responses is a key requirement in psychophysiology where the focus is on the relationship between mental and physiological processes. Some of the most common physiological processes measured in modern psychophysiology include biopotential recordings (EOG, ECG, EMG, EEG) and Galvanic Skin Response (GSR), which measures the electrical conductance of the skin in response to stimuli.
With data acquisition solutions from ADInstruments, you can record and measure skin conductance as well as biopotentials, and simultaneously display and analyze them against other physiological signals in real-time. Tie this in with the ability to easily integrate and synchronize physiological recordings with event markers from your stimulus presentation software, and you have a comprehensive and flexible solution that can grow with your research.
In conjunction with our solutions shown below, any device with an analog output (+/- 10V) can be connected to a PowerLab data acquisition system for synchronization of event in LabChart. So you have even more flexibility and can integrate all your data streams in one place.
All of our hardware recommended for human use is backed by the appropriate safety certification standards. More information on safety standards.
