Non-Invasive Blood Pressure
Non-invasive Blood Pressure (NIBP) recording in the field of psychophysiology allows you to capture continuous blood pressure data over long sampling periods easily, and with increased comfort for your subject.
Reliably record and monitor trends in response to stimulus and interventions on blood pressure and heart rate. The system automatically corrects for movement of the finger cuff relative to the heart with the height correction unit (HCU)
With our Human NIBP systems you can stream data directly into LabChart, as well as simultaneously acquire additional physiological signals by adding a PowerLab data acquisition system. You also have the ability to easily integrate and synchronize physiological recordings with event markers from your stimulus presentation software for even greater flexibility in your research.

In conjunction with our complete system shown below, any device (i.e. ergometer, exercise bike, treadmill) with an analog output (+/- 10V) can be connected to a PowerLab data acquisition system for synchronization of event in LabChart. So you have even more flexibility and can integrate all your data streams in one place.

The Human NIBP Nano Interface is required to connect the Human NIBP Nano Wrist Unit to a computer running LabChart. The interface connects to AC Power and USB at the rear and directly to the Wrist Unit at the front.
This is an FMS instrument that provides non-invasive beat-to-beat blood pressure monitoring in humans. This includes the Wrist Unit and 3m connection cable only. All peripherals are purchased separately.
Used with the ADInstruments Human NIBP Nano system. Finger cuffs are available in three sizes (large, medium and small).
Note for replacement purchases: There are different models of finger cuffs available, please ensure to provide your human NIBP system model and/or serial number when purchasing so that we can ensure to provide you with the correct model for your requirements. The Height Correction Unit allows the Human NIBP Nano to compensate for movement of the hand relative to the heart. It consists of a liquid filled tube connected at one end to a pressure transducer. This model is for use only with the Human NIBP Nano (INL283). During a measurement the HCU transducer is placed on the finger and the compliant ending at reference (i.e heart) level.
