Millar Mikro-Tip Pressure catheters have an operating range of -760 to 4000 mmHg. The linear operating range of these pressure sensors is -50 to 300 mmHg.
For any pressures outside the linear range the user must perform a nonlinear calibration over the range of pressures they expect to be working with. The customer can use the LabChart Multipoint Calibration Extension for calibrating the pressure sensor.
The customer will need to generate the range of pressures in order to perform the non-linear calibration. The Extension is available, for free, from the ADInstruments Website Downloads page and can be used with LabChart for Mac OS and Windows.
