Millar Pressure Interfaces
Overview
Millar offers two-channel amplifier/interface units to support either animal research or human pressure applications.
Animal Models
The Millar Pressure System (MPS-2000) acts as an interface between either one dual-pressure, or two single-pressure Mikro-TipTM pressure catheters, an Instrument Interface and LabChart analysis software option.
Human Applications
The Pressure Signal Conditioner1 (PCU-2000) is designed to connect one or two Mikro-CathTM pressure catheters2 to an Instrument Interface and LabChart analysis software option in a clinical research environment where patient isolation is required (human use only).
Required Products for either option:
- To connect each of the pressure outputs to the Instrument Interface inputs, two BNC to Audio plugs (6.5 mm (1/4"), 2m) need to be purchased separately.
- Millar pressure catheters also require a Viking connector or low-profile connector Interface Cable for use with either Millar Pressure Interface option.
1 This Pressure Signal Conditioner is currently pending certification for clinical research applications in Great Britain / Europe. Please contact your nearest ADInstruments Representative for further information.
2Please note, the Mikro-CathTM Pressure Catheter is only available from ADInstruments in North America, Great Britain / Europe, and Australia regions for human use only. For more information about the Mikro-Cath® Pressure Catheter or to request a quote - please contact your nearest ADInstruments Representative.
