Overview
Millar Mikro-TipTM pressure catheters can be interfaced with a range of appropriate amplifiers via a compatible catheter interface cable. Hardware includes:
- any ADInstruments Bridge Amp
- Pressure Control Unit
- Millar Pressure Interfaces (Millar Pressure System or Pressure Signal Conditioner)
- MPVS Ultra Single Segment PV Unit (no longer sold but interface cables still available)
- MPVS Ultra PV Unit (large & small animals) (no longer sold but interface cables still available)
- MPVS Duo Pressure-Volume System

Product Configurations
Catheter Interface Cable (Low Profile to DIN 8, 10ft)
A 3 m (10 ft) cable that connects a single Millar Mikro-Tip pressure catheter with a Low-Profile connector type (flat with 4 pins) to any ADInstruments Bridge Amp.
Catheter Interface Cable (Low Profile to Redel, 10ft)
A 3 m (10 ft) cable that connects a single Millar Mikro-Tip pressure catheter with a Low-Profile connector type (flat with 4 pins) to compatible amplifiers with a Redel input connector, such as:
- Millar Pressure Interface options
- secondary pressure input of a MPVS Ultra Single Segment PV Unit or MPVS Ultra PV Unit
Catheter Interface Cable (Low Profile to Redel, 4ft)
A 1.2 m (4 ft) cable that connects a single Millar Mikro-Tip pressure catheter with a Low-Profile connector type (flat with 4 pins) to compatible amplifiers with a Redel input connector, such as:
- secondary pressure input of a MPVS Ultra Single Segment PV Unit or MPVS Ultra PV Unit
- Millar Pressure Interface options

A 3 m (10 ft) cable that connects a single Millar Mikro-Tip pressure catheter with a Low-Profile connector type (flat with 4 pins) to a Millar Pressure Interface option.
Catheter Interface Cable (Viking to DIN 8, 10ft)
Connects any Mikro-Tip transducer with a Viking connector type to any ADInstruments Bridge Amp, such as the Non Invasive Pulse Tonometer. (Note that most Millar Mikro-Tip Catheters are now manufactured with a Low Profile connector.)

PV Extension Cable (Ventri-Cath to MPVS Ultra, 10ft)
10ft extension cable designed to connect the MPVS-Ultra Pressure-Volume Unit (large and small animals) to the Ventri-Cath series animal pressure-volume (PV) catheters (large animal), both from Millar.
