Overview

Radnoti Stainless Steel Cannulas that are designed to accommodate the cannulation of an isolated rodent heart (mice and small rats), which consist of a stainless steel needle shaft that is press fit mounted in a female luer. They are available in two styles, straight needle shaft (aortic) or curve needle shaft (atrial) and in fives sizes, which are between 14 – 22 gauge. Near the tip of each cannula is slightly grooved to aid secure attachment when tying the isolated heart vessel to the cannula.

They can be directly mounted on a 130163-4 Aortic/Atrial Cannula Shaft that attaches to the lid of a Radnoti Hi-Tech Heart Chamber or the Direct Perfusion Core of the ADInstruments Rodent Langendorff Apparatus.
