Microneurography
Directly record and analyze peripheral nerve activity from humans using microneurography.
Microneurography is a technique that uses metal electrodes to record neural impulse traffic of both myelinated and unmyelinated axons in efferent and afferent neurons of the skin and muscle. By doing this, the technique can provide information about the neurophysiology of nerve fibers in the peripheral nervous system.
Microneurography nerve activity recording can be performed using ADInstruments Neuro Amp EX together with a PowerLab for data acquisition. The Neuro Amp EX is a low-noise, high-gain amplifier which has a wide range of filters and is certified safe for human connection.

Use LabChart and PowerLab with the Neuro Amp EX to analyse neural activity in human subjects - it's certified safe for human connection. Six gold connectors are supplied for customization of microelectrode adapters. A human-approved isolated stimulator is also available for superficial detection and activation of nerves.
In conjunction with our solutions shown below, any device with an analog output (+/- 10V) can be connected to a PowerLab data acquisition system for synchronization of event in LabChart. So you have even more flexibility and can integrate all your data streams in one place.

The Human NIBP Nano Interface is required to connect the Human NIBP Nano Wrist Unit to a computer running LabChart. The interface connects to AC Power and USB at the rear and directly to the Wrist Unit at the front.

This is an FMS instrument that provides non-invasive beat-to-beat blood pressure monitoring in humans. This includes the Wrist Unit and 3m connection cable only. All peripherals are purchased separately.
Used with the ADInstruments Human NIBP Nano system. Finger cuffs are available in three sizes (large, medium and small).

The Height Correction Unit allows the Human NIBP Nano to compensate for movement of the hand relative to the heart. It consists of a liquid filled tube connected at one end to a pressure transducer. This model is for use only with the Human NIBP Nano (INL283). During a measurement the HCU transducer is placed on the finger and the compliant ending at reference (i.e heart) level.
