Wireless EMG
Wireless EMG Systems
Freely record and measure electrical activity produced by muscles, using wireless EMG sensors.
Wireless EMG is useful for a wide range of applications within exercise physiology. ADInstruments’ wireless solutions are ideal for recording muscle tissue contractions and electrical muscle activity in your subjects, especially when range of movement and comfort are important.
Applications for wireless electrodes include track & field and gymnastics; but our wireless EMG solutions are also ideal for ‘on the spot’ applications, or when small, difficult to isolate muscles are being assessed.
Whether you are studying motor control for patient rehabilitation or muscle performance, activity, and fatigue in elite athletes, ADInstruments offers streamlined wireless systems that let you record and measure electrical muscle activity simply and easily.

Products and Solutions
We are proud to partner with Delsys. Delsys Inc. are well known for their advanced wireless motion technology and wearable solutions, bringing together ease-of-use, clever design and sophisticated underlying algorithms for accurate EMG, EKG and FSR measurements in movement science. Our systems combine the Trigno wireless movement technology from Delsys with the powerful analysis capability of LabChart software, for a deeper understanding of the intricacies of movement.
In conjunction with our solutions shown below, any device (i.e. ergometer, exercise bike, treadmill) with an analog output (+/- 10V) can be connected to a PowerLab data acquisition system for synchronization of event in LabChart. So you have even more flexibility and can integrate all your data streams in one place.
All of our hardware recommended for human use is backed by the appropriate safety certification standards. More information on safety standards.

Flexible Data Acquisition
ADInstruments systems provide an integrated solution to advance life science research. With the combination of LabChart or LabChart Lightning analysis software and a PowerLab data acquisition unit, you have the flexibility to collect and synchronize a wide range of signals for analysis. We also offer a range of LabChart compatible solutions able to stream directly in LabChart.
All your analysis in one place
LabChart software is designed specifically for life science data and provides up to 32 channels for data display and analysis options that are powerful and easy to use. With auto-recognition of ADI and LabChart Compatible hardware, multi-window views, one touch recording, simultaneous recording from multiple devices, specialized preconfigured settings, easy sharing options and an interface that can be customized to show only the features you want to use.
