Overview
The Masterflex® peristaltic pumps are specifically selected to work with Radnoti’s perfusion apparatuses, because of their dependable and precise performance. Their design centers around a pump drive, the corresponding pump head and tubing.
Two pump drives models are available for flow rates less than 1 L/min (depending on tubing used), which are associated with the rpm ranges of 1-100 rpm and 20-600 rpm. Both are powered by a 1/10 hp (75 W) reversible permanent magnet motor. The rotational speed & direction can be manually or digitally controlled, and shown on a 3-digit LED display. For heart perfusion studies, the 1 to 100 rpm pump drive is suitable for mouse hearts, while 20 to 600 rpm pump drive is suitable for rats and small animal hearts.
The Radnoti Pump Head (6 Roller) is compatible with both pump drives, and is capable of handling up to a maximum flow rate of 900 ml/min (tubing and pump drive dependent). Up to two pump heads can be attached to a pump drive. The pump head uses the Easy-Load® design for easy tubing mounting, release and removal.
Additionally, another pump drive is available for applications requiring a high flow and pressure setting. It is powered by 1/3 hp (0.25 kW) motor, which provides 33 to 650 rpm. Together with its corresponding pump head, it can achieve flow rates close to 19 L/min (depending on tubing used), which is ideal for perfusing porcine hearts.

An assembled Masterflex Peristaltic Pump that consists of a 170113 Radnoti Pump Head (6 Roller), which is attached to a 170100 Peristaltic Pump Drive (1-100 rpm, Dual Voltage). It provides peristaltic pumping for a single perfusion line via its tubing assembly (supplied) and is suitable for perfusing mouse hearts. Any additional required pump head tubing is purchased separately.
Radnoti Masterflex Peristaltic Pump (1-100 rpm, Dual Head)
An assembled Masterflex Peristaltic Pump that consists of two 170113 Radnoti Pump Heads (6 Roller), which are attached to a 170100 Peristaltic Pump Drive (1-100 rpm, Dual Voltage). It provides peristaltic pumping for two separate perfusion lines via its pump head tubing assemblies (supplied) and is suitable for perfusing mouse hearts. Any additional required tubing is purchased separately.
Radnoti Masterflex Peristaltic Pump (20-600 rpm, Single Head)
An assembled Masterflex Peristaltic Pump that consists of a 170113 Radnoti Pump Head (6 Roller), which is attached to a 170600 Peristaltic Pump Drive (20-600 rpm, Dual Voltage). It provides peristaltic pumping for a single perfusion line via its pump head tubing assembly (supplied) and is suitable for perfusing rat hearts.
