Measure breathing trace / breathing rate through changes in band circumference are used to characterize breathing patterns (inhalation, exhalation and breathing strength).
Respiratory belts are useful in measuring changes in thoracic or abdominal circumference during respiration. These measurements can indicate inhalation, expiration and breathing strength and can be used to derive breathing rate and characterize breathing patterns.
We are proud to partner with Equivital. From outdoor exercise research to sleep studies, Equivital’s wireless physiological monitoring system, combined with LabChart analysis software gives you the perfect balance of ease and data integrity.
In conjunction with our complete system shown below, any device (for example ergometer, exercise bike, or treadmill) with an analog output (+/- 10 V) can be connected to a PowerLab data acquisition system for synchronization of event in LabChart. So you have even more flexibility and can integrate all your data streams in one place.
All of our hardware recommended for human use is backed by the appropriate safety certification standards. More information on safety standards.
